If your Scout needs the EAGLE required merit badge – Emergency Preparedness, the most challenging requirement is participating in an emergency drill. As you may recall, we have that opportunity this Saturday, November 14th in conjunction with a CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) event that the City of Scottsdale is having. The following provides the final particulars:

Please note that adults are welcome to participate as well. Should be very informative and a lot of fun! If you would like to carpool, please meet at Blessed Sacrament, just outside our Tuesday night meeting room at 6:20am. Also, please let Kevin Weinhold know you would like to carpool. Kevin can be reached at [email protected]. We expect the event to conclude around 1:00pm.Â
Class B uniform is fine. We will be the ‘victims’ in the event and be made up by some make-up artists, so wear a work version of your Class B. Also, please pack a lunch and/or some light snacks and bring plenty of water.
