On Saturday, October 2nd, from 4PM until 7PM, T648 will have our leader, committee, and parent meeting. For the last few years this has been an annual meeting, but the plan is to go to at least a semi-annual rotation beginning with this meeting. It is an opportunity for the adult leaders, the committee, and participating parents to develop the organized support for the 2010-2011 calendar that the boys developed at last month’s PLC retreat. Very much like the boys do, it is an opportunity for us to discuss what is working well and what needs a little help. Please come and contribute your ideas to make this year even better, find out answers to your questions about the troop, and have some fun getting to know the other adults in your son’s lives at T648. We will be providing a meal. However, if you have dinner plans, we should be finished with most of the agenda in time for you to come to the meeting and still make it to your Saturday night event.Â
The location of the meeting is thanks to Mr. Butler. It is at Desert Springs Bible Church on Tatum and Paradise Lane, just south of Bell Road. The address is 16215 N. Tatum Blvd. See you at 4PM on the 2nd!Â
