Scouts, Leaders and Parents,
We had an outstanding Family Camp out last weekend. Â It was short, but productive and fun. Â We were advised by the park ranger that there was a 100 % chance of rain that evening and that the group camp site would likely be cut off as a result of the flood. Â We would be safe in the camp, but unable to cross the flooded wash. Â As a result we decided to cut the outing short and pack out. Â Hopefully we were able to contact all who were planning to arrive late on Saturday. Â I will secure a later date for next year.
Just as a reminder, there is a Fish Fry this Friday. Â I was out of town for this weeks’ meeting. Â I have seven Scouts signed up on the sheet from the previous week. Â Thank you for your participation.
