Scouts, Leaders and adults,
We had 17 Scouts and 6 Adults attend the canoe outing this past weekend. We had a great outing as will be evidenced by the pictures that I’m sure will be showing up on the web site. Daniel Worthley completed his Scoutmaster Conference for Star and Clark Williams completed his Board of Review for the rank of Star. Congratulations! It was another busy weekend for the adult leaders. I would like to thank all who attended. I would also like to extend a special thanks to Mr. White who worked on the inside of our troop trailer last week. He also pulled the troop canoes and secured a camp site early on Friday afternoon. The campsite was wooded, the lake was calm, the weather was clear, the company was great; a perfect weekend.
We have Scout-O-Rama ticket sales coming up very soon. We also will beginning planning our booth. We have our Cub Scout planning meeting in the youth room, on the 9th of next month. We will arrive at the church early to clean and prepare the room for the meeting. There will be an outside activity planned for the troop in order to facilitate the meeting in the youth room. Thank you in advance for your help in this activity.
